Tuney Tuesday

Because I'm badly influenced by my musical friends, and because I need some bit of newness, some bit of inspiration (that word is such a cliché!) I'm all out of sorts because I miss working on my own work right now. It's quite upsetting and I feel all kinds of mixed sometimes horrid emotions. Anyway here's an interesting selection that makes me feel much better.

Last night I stayed up listening to the Morning Benders on Blogotheque. I quite like this group of these wonderfully maigre emo boys. Blogotheque is amazing - their Concerts à Emporter (Take Away Shows) are so sumptuous I could cry.

My second choice comes to you from a Norwegian Fjord. So gorgeous is this little Alain Johannes Endless Eyes video and what a lovely song too.

Want some new stuff from The Decemberists? Check it! Download Down By The Water!

Of course Nic also has a major part to play in this Meric Long (The Dodos) track, Fiends.

I really should have been a musician -  perhaps in another life. At least I know good stuff right?

Thank you Tracey.
Music flies high, rises above. And as Michael Shrieve said...maybe you go to read it on his site http://www.michaelshrieve.com/
So you can figure out who was him and what did he play at the '69 Woodstock Festival!

See you soon, Nicola.
