If you want another sappycute story of my bear, and you're in Brooklyn, and love plushies and designer toys, please mosey on down to Grumpy Bert's shop at DeKalb Market between June 30th and August 5th. It's a cool container market - how fun is that? The store is hosting an international exhibition, featuring stories and photographs of plush toys. As a huge fan of cuteness, plushies, and stories, I'm quite honoured to be part of this so thanks to GB and his army of amazeballs toys and merchandise.

Pop pop pop... 

Battling sun, exhaustion and an overbearing sinus headache and an upturned umbrella and hoping my skirt doesn't fly over my head. Graceful. That was me a couple days ago trying to run around getting my prints and such. I'm giving you just a wee preview of work that's going overseas next week for a show. I woke up at some ridiculous hour (3am) this morning and started prepping the work for its flight. I've been busy with other things, but that's how it goes. More info will come on this exhibition when the event is launched.

In other news I have a new fabulous local framer and printer so I am indeed a happy bunny. This means I have no more problems in Trinidad and Grenada has already been sorted since day one. I quite love the mat job on these pieces. I'll be checking in again soon with more updates!
